Alive or dead? Buzzing with life or dusty and forlorn? This flip image artwork is part three of the three-part series "The Lost Places", featuring an abandoned (or is it?) theme park, loosely inspired by the long lost Spree Park in Berlin, Germany.

A firmly attached sheet with an array of lenses creates the animation effect, no electricity or batteries required.

How it works

Lenticular prints are printed with multiple animation frames interlaced. With a specially formed lens sheet glued on top, each viewing angle displays a different frame of the animation.

If you move the print, you see all animation frames playing one after another - just like a movie.
